Here you will see the different types of matching possible when you tokenize with the SoundsLike component. All data returned is fictional and does not describe any real person. Without using SoundsLike - this query is done using the standard SQL "LIKE" clause

SoundsLike in Narrow mode - matching is closer phonetically to the original target

SoundsLike in Wide mode - matches are farther from the original target as the fuzzy logic is more relaxed

SoundsLike using Nicknames - this is purely for nicknames and diminutives (e.g. Bob = Robert)

SoundsLike Narrow w/Nicknames - the most powerful method, combines Narrow mode with Nicknames
